Rimini, Adriatic Coast
In the 1960’s, Rimini was one of the first beach resorts to attract tourists from other countries throughout Europe thus “the holiday was born”. Now it is one of the most famous seaside resorts in Europe, thanks to its prestigious nine mile long sandy beach, eight hundred hotels and one thousand bars, restaurants and nightclubs.
Rimini is situated in the province of Emilia Romagna, which is renowned to produce the best pasta in Italy along with the best chefs coming from this region.
The Rimini resort is split into two distinct areas, the “Old Town” and the “New Town”, the new town is where you will find an electric buzz especially throughout the summer months when the beaches are packed, the bars are buzzing and the beer is flowing. The old town is some what more of a traditional little Italian town where you will find traditional shops, cafes, tavernas and a twice weekly market. Other popular excursions with groups staying in Rimini include the city of Bologna and the Republic of San Marino both which are just forty minutes away and well worth a visit.
Tennis in Rimini
Tennis is one of Italy’s top sports alongside Soccer and Basketball. Their National players are always in the top 150 World ranking and Italy provides the second most prestigious clay event on the ATP circuit in the form of the Internatzionali BNL d’Italia which is held in Rome each May.
If you are interested in an alternative game of tennis then why not have a go at beach tennis which is played with paddle racquets and was invented by Italians. This is a very popular sport and is often played along the nine miles of sandy beaches in Rimini.
Rimini has no shortage of tennis courts with seven courts situated adjacent to the Milton Hotel at Tennis Club Circolo, and a further six courts at Rimini Tennis Club, which is a fifteen minute walk from your hotel.

Dining in Rimini
Rimini is a city based in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy and is located on the Adriatic Sea with a coastline spanning over 9 miles (15km) in length.
As you can imagine this makes it a great place for traditional seafood and and the “Old Town” of Rimini has many quirky little fish restaurants tucked away in the back streets. Down in the “New Town” you are much more likely to see the grills, pasta restaurants etc as this is the region which is more popularly populated by the tourists.

Getting to Rimini
We recommend flying from your chosen departure airport direct into Rimini, Bologne or Ancona Airport. Upon arrival we will then transfer you to your hotel in Rimini.
It is also possible to fly into Pisa, Venice, Florence and Parma Airports. However, due to the additional distance from Rimini there would be a small supplement fee payable to cover the coach transfer costs. More information click here
