The German Tennis Federation has 1.5 million members and has one of the largest tennis membership in the world per capita. There are 9,400 tennis clubs and over 47,000 tennis courts making tennis the second most popular sport in Germany.
The German Tennis Federation has one goal, which is to get people excited about tennis and to promote the development and growth of tennis.

Hotel Gut Schmitte
The hotel is situated just outside of Cologne City Centre and is adjacent to MKG Tennis Club, which has six outdoor tennis courts.
The hotel has 18 bedrooms (10 single rooms and 8 double rooms) with a total of 26 beds, shower, WC, radio, telephone, TV and wireless internet. The hotel has a small beer garden, restaurant and lounge area.
All rooms are non smoking and the use of tennis courts is included in your package along with a generous breakfast buffet in the restaurant each morning.

Getting to Cologne
When travelling to Cologne we recommend flying from your chosen departure airport direct into the main airport of Cologne. Upon arrival we will then transfer you to your hotel.
It may also be possible to fly into other airports within the region, however, due to the additional distances from your hotel there would be a small supplement fee payable to cover the coach transfer costs. More information click here
