Destination Details

Antwerp is the fashion capital of Belgium, the nightlife capital of Belgium and the diamond capital of the World. Here you can find over 2,000 pubs, bars and restaurants serving over 500 different brews of beer, many of which are Trappist beers brewed by the monks in one of the many monasteries, which can be found throughout Belgium.

In the evening, we recommend heading towards the Old Quarter of Antwerp, where you will be amazed at the sheer beauty of this wonderful city.  Whilst undiscovered, the food in Belgium is on a par with that you would expect from France – simply wonderful.

Since 2003 Belgium has basked in the glory of having the world’s top two women’s tennis players: Kim Clijsters and Justine Henin. Tennis in Belgium is governed by the Royal Belgian Tennis Federation, which is split into the French and Dutch-speaking regions of the Country. Whilst in Belgium not only can you can expect high standards of tennis facilities but you can also expect a competitive standard of play.

With a total of 14 indoor courts and 31 outdoor courts split across three top tennis clubs all within close proximity of the hotel makes this a favourite amongst our clubs.

Coaching sessions will be available in conjunction with the English speaking Dynamic Tennis Academy, where they will be more than happy to structure the coaching sessions around your squad in order to provide you with top quality coaching and guidance throughout your stay.

During your stay, we will arrange for your club to play in two tennis competitions against local tennis clubs from either Belgium or just across the border in Holland.TennisBall_20px_1 For more information click here

Hotel Ter Elst

Hotel Ter Elst is situated on the outskirts of Antwerp and within a five minute walk of three tennis clubs, providing a total of 31 outdoor courts and 14 indoor courts.  The hotel itself has 15 fully equipped multipurpose halls and an auditorium for exhibitions. Whilst away from the court, the hotel can provide your tennis club members with some teambuilding exercises by arranging activities such as clay pigeon shooting, archery and petanque (some supplements may apply) Alternatively if you would prefer access to the hotel gym then this can also be arranged. (again supplements may apply)

The hotel has 49 spacious bedrooms rooms and 4 suites, all of which have been recently renovated to the highest specification. All rooms include private facilities, Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, a safe and fair-trade coffee and tea making facilities.  Breakfast is served in the ‘orangerie’ and is included each morning of your stay.
